Cyrus must run for his life, but can he run from love?
When dying alone on the hot sands of the Mohave
Desert, Cyrus has no regrets. He loves a challenge. Being tasked with
running from San Francisco to Boston in fifteen days, while the
United States government and a host of bounty hunters hunt for him,
sounds like fun. Being at death's door only a day into his trip
doesn't faze him either. It's when he's joined by fellow runner Eve,
bringing new emotions to the surface, his confidence cracks.
What I have to say about The Agora Files:
I had the immense privilege to beta read this. I made the mistake to partly do this on the bus - with the result that I almost missed my stop. Twice. It is a truly immersive read, from the first sentence on. Even if you're not a runner yourself, you'll find yourself wanting to run along, forever, through the vast American landscape. The book comes with its own soundtrack, too. I promise you'll still hear the songs in your mind weeks later.
